Astons review: cloth, cut and how it wears

Astons · The Longs

Nov 2, 2026·

Some trousers earn their place quietly. The Astons is one: stretch chino, finished in blue green, and made to be worn often without much thought.

Care

Cold machine wash, low spin, dry flat away from direct sun. Iron on low if you want a sharper finish, though it is not needed.

Fabric

The material is stretch chino, tightly woven, with a dry hand. It breathes better than a synthetic blend, which matters if you wear the same trouser all day.

How to wear it

It pairs with grey, ecru, navy and denim. Avoid bright accents; the cloth is the detail.

Fit

Cut is mid-rise with a straight leg. If you prefer a closer fit, size down; the fabric gives slightly after the first wear.

Worth knowing

Colours within the range are dyed to sit together, which makes combining two pieces from the same fabric straightforward.

If you already own something similar in a lighter cloth, this is the version for cooler months.
